standard, lead gold, i want to thank webcor for their leadership in getting this built and making a smooth transition. i want to thank the fire fighters because it's really the home of the alley cats and they are proud of it and they are proud of the family that they have built here because this is one of the busiest fire stations, firehouse 1, will get those calls, you know that. in fact don't be surprised if a call is made even during a time we are here because there is so much activity going on. but we know they are in a safer place a better performing aspect place, more modern and they will get the level of safety the city defrsz -- deserves. we have to prepare for those unknown but predictable accidents natural and otherwise that will occur in the city of san francisco. i want to thank the chiefs, the city administrator, victor, your work here as well, our real estate department, as well, thank you, john for being here. all the city family, our city engineer, figuring out things for being here as well. investing in our infrastructure, investing in our fire stations has been a main st
on this project and i would like to thank charles and gabriela. our team, of course webcor builders who made sure things happened and lineey oaks and lou, thanks, guys. and last but not least everyone at the san francisco fire department. we've government -- gone through a whole variety and great to assist a deputy chief who was an awesome partner during the early phase of this project and talking to the neighbors and trying to make sure the way it was paved for this project to really happen and of course deputy chief, kim lombardy to make sure we had all the details. i would like to point out to you that haven't noticed yet, there is a plaque to the right of the building that honors the fire fighters that have sacrificed their lives to the city for years. i would like to say with sincere hope today that they will serve for at least another hundred years. thanks very much. of the holiday plaza, working with webcor, we are working to try to redesign even better i improvements here and you see the space in the highest level of appreciation for the city. i want to emphasize it would not happen without everybody reaching out to each other, with n the city, stake holders, in our small businesses, the hotels and successful areas of our city and say let's work together for an even more improved vision of what we can do for our visitors. that is going to enhance everything, that is what turns one visit into 5 visits with the same person. it turns someone who comes by themselves and then they bring their families or they meet up with friends here in san francisco. and this is what it's all about. this is what i care about and i know that i will continue to try to do the things that the mayor's office that support this effort, talking about it, quoting the statistics to the supervisors and they know that visitors is at the heart and all the way to market street. pretty soon, i'm not supposed to announce these things, but i would like to announce things that are not fin

't that correct key. and [spelling?] and so i want to thank all of you for being in san francisco and webcore and others who have been such a great part of the success in this city and i want to thank my great friend mayor khan for coming over here and later on, later this year we are going to be traveling over the new span of the bay bridge and joining each other with governor brown as we celebrate in september with largest construction project in the history of the bay area and we talked about it last year when we were thinking about how to celebrate this bridge crossing and we made some cultural connections. and something about our ancestors helping to build the railroads here in the 1800 and is now two chinese americas mayors of our country coming together on the bay privilege. just something remarkable about that. you know, a year ago, i appeared before you, to talk about what we were planning to do, it was the year of the dragon, the dragon meant that we had to be bold, take risks and that all of the elements around the dragon tell us, us forward to take the biggest risks we could
